Dr. Shannon Humphrey
Chief Research Officer

Dr Shannon Humphrey is at the forefront of innovation in cosmetic dermatology. A recognized expert in the use of cosmetic injectables including fillers, neuromodulators and sodium deoxycholate, Dr Humphrey travels the world sharing her expertise and insights with the global dermatology community. Dr Humphrey is a highly sought-after speaker and peer instructor, particularly on the topic of her success in achieving natural-looking outcomes by way of a holistic approach to cosmetic medicine. Her influence also extends beyond the medical community — Dr Humphrey is a regular voice in local and national media on the topics of both cosmetic and medical dermatology.An active clinical trialist, Dr Humphrey has served as a principal investigator for numerous pivotal cosmetic clinical trials, driving the research with a hands-on approach from study inception, through execution, to clinical translation of the data.Dr Humphrey is the Medical Director at Humphrey Cosmetic Dermatology as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia. She is also active in many professional organizations such as The American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the Canadian Dermatology Association and the Acne and Rosacea Society of Canada.

Bri Vestvik
Director of Research & Innovation

Bri is a research professional with over fourteen years of dermatology trial experience. She has a master’s degree in experimental medicine from the University of British Columbia and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from the University of Queensland. Over the past 10 years she has helped to establish the well-respected Clinical Trials Unit at Pacific Derm in Vancouver with Dr. Jason Rivers. During this time Bri has worked on over 35 medical and cosmetic dermatology trials. Bri is known for her dedication to excellence and has presented at both UBC Research Week and at the SOCRA annual conference on her pathway to success and how to create a culture of quality.

Natalie Croll
Clinical Research Budget and Contract Specialist

Natalie is a research nurse and a certified clinical research coordinator. After obtaining her nursing diploma, Natalie worked as a research nurse in neurology and cardiology clinical trials. Natalie joined the Humphrey Cosmetic Dermatology research team in 2018, and has worked on 13 cosmetic dermatology clinical trials. With her patient care expertise and attention to detail, Natalie has implemented new processes to enhance efficiencies and profitability while producing high quality clinical trial data.

Dr. Charles Cheng
Dr. Cheng has extensive experience with injectables and new advancement in technologies. He is among the few physicians in Canada who has achieved the Double Diamond Level account status in Canada with Allergan (manufacturer of Botox Cosmetic and the Juvederm family of hyaluronic acid fillers).
Dr. Lisa Kellet
Dr. Lisa Kellett is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association, the Canadian Laser Aesthetic Surgery Society, and the Toronto Dermatological Society. ​ Dr. Kellett is in frequent demand by industry experts and the media to speak on the latest advancements in skin treatments.
Dr. Mark Lupin
Dr. Mark Lupin is a world-renowned Dermatologist and sought-after lecturer in the field of non-surgical facial rejuvenation. He is a Clinical Instructor on Faculty with the Department of Dermatology and Skin Science, UBC. Director and Founder of Cosmedica Laser Centre, Dr. Lupin is uniquely qualified both in Dermatology as well as with additional training in Neurology.
Dr. Jason Rivers
Dr. Rivers’ experience in aesthetic medicine spans more than 25 years. He was one of the principal investigators of the first national study on the sun protection habits of Canadians. He presented a report on the findings to the House of Commons Hearing Committee on the Environment (effects of ozone depletion on human skin) and was involved in a forum to create the UV Index.
Dr. Sheetal Sapra
Dr. Sheetal Sapra is a pioneer of new technologies aimed at improving the lives and looks of patients. His commitment to finding the best ways to restore vibrant, youthful appearance has made him a part of the vanguard of modern dermatological methods, including the latest laser technologies. A respected authority in his field, Dr. Sapra is an educator for different types of laser systems, and a spokesperson for various products.
