MedSpa Partners Research (MSPR) division is the first boutique consortium for cosmetic medicine research in North America. Founded in 2020 and led by Dr. Shannon Humphrey, MedSpa Partners’ Chief Research Officer and prominent Dermatologist and Clinical Researcher, MSPR is a network of some of Canada’s most experienced and renowned cosmetic research centres.

Dr. Shannon Humphrey is at the forefront of innovation in cosmetic dermatology. A recognized expert in the use of cosmetic injectables including fillers, neuromodulators and sodium deoxycholate, Dr. Humphrey travels the world sharing her expertise and insights with the global dermatology community. An active clinical trialist, Dr. Humphrey has served as a principal investigator for numerous pivotal cosmetic clinical trials, driving the research with a hands-on approach from study inception, through execution, to clinical translation of the data. Dr. Humphrey is the Medical Director at Humphrey Cosmetic Dermatology as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia.
