Dr Katie Beleznay is a leading practitioner of both medical and cosmetic dermatology, with expertise ranging from the treatment of acne and rosacea to the use of injectables and complexion-enhancing, energy-based laser procedures. She has been recognized for her superior caliber of patient care. A Clinical Instructor with the Department of Dermatology at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Beleznay is a published author and international speaker at events such as the World Congress of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). Dr. Beleznay is a member of the prestigious ASDS Future Leaders Network and has been the recipient of numerous academic awards and grants for her scientific research and contributions in the field of dermatology.
Education
Dr Beleznay is board-certified in both Canada and the United States. She completed her medical training and dermatology residency at the University of British Columbia. Dr Beleznay completed a year-long fellowship in cosmetic and laser dermatology with Humphrey Cosmetic Dermatology, and worked with Dr Mitchel Goldman at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in San Diego, Dr Derek Jones at Skin Care and Laser of Beverly Hills, and Dr Tina Alster at the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery in Washington, DC.
