In our practice, we take the time to ensure all of our patients are happy, but there are some patients who are just over the moon with their results. 1. They do less, more often.
   My patients who are happiest with their results are rarely those trying to make drastic changes in a short period of time. Rather, those who use more conservative treatments at regular intervals are best equipped to harness the combined preventative and restorative capabilities of cosmetic dermatology and achieve natural-looking results. This typically means a neuromodulator few times each year, the occasional filler treatment, and skin tightening at intervals. To achieve the best results, we encourage less, but more often.
2. They trust a holistic approach.
   This same patient pool is usually engaged in treatments that span several categories. They undergo complexion enhancement, wrinkle relaxing and skin tightening procedures alongside an at-home skincare practice in order to capitalize on the power of combination treatments.
3. They let us in.
   Treatment programs aren’t the only piece of the puzzle that need to take place on a regular basis — our most satisfied patients approach their communication with me the same way. They maintain a clear, ongoing dialogue that enables us to discuss what’s working and what isn’t a fit based on their values, budget, goals and past experience, in order to iterate, optimize and update as we go.
4. They think long-term.
   Last but not least, these patients view cosmetic dermatology as a journey, not a destination. They understand aging happens and embrace it — they even have a sense of humour about some of the unavoidable changes they’re facing.  Instead of seeking a specific fixed goal with their appearance, these patients take preventative and corrective measures in order to remain as vital and beautiful as possible at every age. It’s the perfect combo.
