Latest Research and Innovation on Neuromodulators

Outside of her patient hours, conference keynotes and teaching and mentorship roles, Dr. Humphrey serves as principal investigator on a number of clinical research studies. She researches, advises and consults on new therapeutic options in the cosmetic dermatology field, and has been the lead investigator for products like Belkyra that have gained regulatory approval.

Not only are we proud of her accomplishments, we’re confident that they benefit our patients. As a clinical trialist and researcher on the cutting edge of our industry, Dr. Humphrey is often among the first to acquire in-depth product and treatment knowledge long before new releases reach the mainstream market. That means that we can offer our patients the latest in cosmetic medicine — with unparalleled expertise and advise — before they can find it anywhere else.

Last month, Dr. Humphrey travelled to Palo Alto, CA to advise the team developing daxibotulinum toxin A. She presented her perspectives and research on the long-term and preventative effects of neurotoxins to support a new longer-lasting neuromodulator that could encourage proactive collagen production, and provide results for up to six months.

We are intrigued about the opportunity for this potential new treatment alterative, and will keep you informed in the coming months as things progress. A new neuromodulator that lasts twice as long…something we can all get excited about!
